Greg Kelman
Practice Owner
Greg graduated from Murdoch University, WA in 2000, and is a proud husband to Liia, father of three beautiful kids, two cats, a rather large dog and umpteen chickens (and more recently a large itinerant diamond python). Living locally for the last 15 years on the Central Coast, Greg and Liia have been operating the Kincumber Veterinary Hospital from mid 2014.
Greg is a self confessed "crazy cat lady" although he has a soft spot for the Kelman family rescue dog "KC" a 32kg mastiff cross. Greg attained his membership by examination to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2006 in small animal medicine. With interests in small animal medicine, ultrasonography and surgery, Greg is the practice principal and primarily a small animal (dog and cat)practician but also consults from time to time on more exotic species - rabbits, guinea-pigs, birds, rats and mice and the odd snake.
In his spare time Greg likes to spend time with his family (not forgetting the animals). He can be found pottering in the veggie garden, in the kitchen cooking or playing the piano - when he finds the time - in between running the vet hospital and helping Liia looking after the kids and pets at home.

Liia Kelman
Liia is a full time mum, terrible housekeeper - spending time with the kids a higher priority, crazy chook lady and part time veterinarian. Her chickens are her 'girls' but Liia does like the mad ginger cat, and the odd cat with spunk, but overall considers herself a dog person.
Liia's veterinary career has been diverse - from starting in mixed practice treating alpacas to horses to sheep to goats to cats and dogs - to small animal practice - to industry work for a multinational veterinary pharmaceutical company as a technical services veterinarian. Liia's recent post had been as the Veterinary Director at the Animal Emergency Centre West Gosford, leading the team of vets and nurses caring for critical pets in the dead of the night to the wee hours of the mornings.
Liia and her husband Greg have been running the Kincumber Veterinary hospital from mid 2014, just weeks before the birth of their third child, second boy Joshua James.
